Terms of Service

Last updated: April 12, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using QuickRuit AI. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. They govern your rights and obligations as a candidate, employer, or visitor.

01

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QuickRuit AI ("QuickRuit," "we," "our," or "us") — including our website at quickruit.in, our web application, and any associated APIs or services — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and QuickRuit. If you are using QuickRuit on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

If You Disagree

If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using QuickRuit. Continued use of any part of our platform after updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised version.
02

Eligibility & User Accounts

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use QuickRuit. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. QuickRuit is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we will delete any accounts found to belong to users under this age.

Account Registration

To access most features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update it as needed to keep it accurate. You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not.
  • Immediately notifying us at hello@quickruit.in if you suspect unauthorized access.

Employer Account Verification

All employer accounts are subject to manual verification by QuickRuit's admin team before full access is granted. We reserve the right to decline or revoke employer status at our sole discretion, particularly for accounts that post spam, misleading, or exploitative job listings.

One Account Per Person

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, verification requirements, or platform limits is a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.
04

Employer Responsibilities

Employers using QuickRuit to hire candidates bear significant responsibilities. By posting jobs and accessing candidate data through our platform, you agree to the following:

Lawful Hiring Practices

You must comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data protection laws in the jurisdictions in which you hire. This includes — but is not limited to — the Equal Employment Opportunities Act, the Indian Employment Exchanges Act, GDPR (where applicable), and the DPDPA 2023.

Use of AI Scores

AI-generated Resume Scores, interview evaluations, Trust Scores, and candidate rankings provided by QuickRuit are decision support tools only. You acknowledge that:

  • Final hiring decisions must always involve human review and judgment.
  • You will not use AI scores as the sole basis for rejecting or accepting candidates.
  • You will provide candidates with a meaningful opportunity for human review if requested.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AI outputs does not result in discriminatory outcomes.

Candidate Data Access

Access to candidate profiles, video recordings, resumes, and AI evaluations is granted strictly for the purpose of evaluating that candidate for the specific role they applied to. You may not use candidate data for any other purpose, including building external databases, training third-party models, or sharing with unauthorized parties.

Job Listing Accuracy

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all job postings on QuickRuit are accurate, lawful, and non-discriminatory. Posting misleading, fraudulent, or exploitative job listings is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension.

05

Candidate Responsibilities

As a candidate using QuickRuit to participate in interviews and applications, you agree to the following obligations:

Accuracy of Submitted Information

You must ensure that all information you submit — including your resume, skills, work history, education, and interview responses — is truthful, accurate, and your own original work. Submitting falsified credentials, plagiarized resumes, or fraudulent information is a serious violation of these Terms and may be reported to the relevant employer.

Interview Integrity

By participating in a proctored interview on QuickRuit, you agree to:

  • Complete the interview in a single, uninterrupted session as required by the employer.
  • Not use unauthorized external resources, coaching tools, or AI-generated responses during the interview.
  • Not attempt to bypass, manipulate, or deceive the proctoring or Trust Score systems.
  • Allow camera and microphone access solely for the purpose of the interview.

One-Attempt Policy

Some interviews on QuickRuit are configured as single-attempt sessions by the employer. Once you begin such an interview, you cannot restart it. Ensure you are in a suitable environment before beginning. QuickRuit is not responsible for technical failures on your end that prevent completion.

Developer Profile Links

If you provide a GitHub username or LeetCode handle, you confirm that the profile belongs to you and that you consent to QuickRuit analyzing publicly available data from that profile as part of your candidate evaluation.

06

AI-Powered Features & Limitations

QuickRuit uses advanced AI models — including OpenAI's GPT-series and Google's Gemini 2.0 — to power core platform features. You acknowledge and agree to the following regarding our AI systems:

AI is a Tool, Not an Authority

All AI-generated content — including job descriptions, interview questions, match scores, and candidate summaries — is intended to assist human decision-makers. It is not legally binding or authoritative.

Accuracy is Not Guaranteed

AI outputs may occasionally be incomplete, incorrect, or biased. QuickRuit does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any AI-generated content for any specific purpose.

No Discriminatory Use

Employers must not use AI scores or outputs in a manner that results in unlawful discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.

Human Review Right

Candidates may request human review of any AI-generated assessment that materially affects their application outcome, in line with GDPR Article 22. Contact hello@quickruit.in to submit such a request.

Our AI Commitment

We design our AI systems to evaluate candidates on relevant skills and experience signals, not demographic characteristics. We conduct periodic bias audits and update our models to maintain fairness. AI is built to supplement human judgment — not replace it.
07

Video Interviews & Proctoring

Consent to Recording

By starting a video interview on QuickRuit, you explicitly consent to the recording of your video and audio responses for the purpose of employer evaluation. A clear consent prompt is shown before each session begins. You may withdraw from the interview at any time before completion by closing the session, though this will result in an incomplete submission.

Proctoring Disclosure

Where an employer has enabled proctoring, QuickRuit's Proctoring Engine will monitor and log the following during your interview:

  • Tab-switching and browser focus loss events.
  • Exits from full-screen mode.
  • Camera presence and face-detection signals (not facial recognition).
  • Session timestamps and duration anomalies.

These signals are compiled into a numerical Trust Score which is shared with the employer. You will be informed if proctoring is active before your session begins.

What Proctoring Does NOT Do

QuickRuit's proctoring system does not perform facial recognition, store biometric identity templates, or make automated pass/fail determinations. The Trust Score is a data point for employer review — not an automated disqualification mechanism.

Recording Storage & Access

Video recordings are stored securely on our Cloudinary-powered CDN. Access is restricted to the employer who invited you and authorized QuickRuit staff. Recordings are not publicly accessible and are delivered via authenticated URLs only. Recordings are retained for 6–12 months unless deleted earlier by the employer or upon your data deletion request.

08

Prohibited Actions — Employers

  • Using AI scores as the sole criterion for rejecting candidates without any human review.
  • Sharing candidate recordings or reports with parties not involved in the hiring decision.
  • Using campus drive access to collect data from students outside the intended recruitment scope.

Consequences of Violation

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, legal action where warranted, and reporting to relevant authorities. QuickRuit cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations.

You may not disclose candidate video recordings, AI evaluation reports, or profile data to any third party outside of your hiring team without the candidate's consent.
